(thobe or thaub), kandura khameez, or suriyah (in Libya). This
is a long ankle-length garment. These typically have long sleeves
like the one shown below. It is the traditional Arab dress for men. It is
worn by many men in most parts of the Arab world, such as Iraq, Sudan,
Algeria, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Syria, Tunisia, Somalia,
Libya, Jordan, Eritrea, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Palestine,
Mauritania, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Djibouti, Bahrain, Comoros, Western
Sahara, and some other parts of the Islamic world as well. |
